Building

Looking closely at the three windows on the back of the original structure in the first photo, you will see that they were replaced with a new french sliding glass door. The rest of the addition comes out and goes up from there. The original structure remains stucco, while the addition is either cement board siding or cement board “cedar” shake. This intentionally modern material is used so as not to take away from the original 1924 historic structure. The brick used in the barbeque is salvaged from another project as is the galvalume roofing above.
